G.I. Joe Comic!

G.I. Joe fans all know him as the writer for the Marvel Comics series G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, based on the iconic Hasbro toy line. Not only did he write the G.I. Joe comic book for fourteen years, he also wrote the action figure file cards during that time. When someone thinks of writing for G.I. Joe...they think of Larry! He has also written other exciting titles, including: Wolverine, Nth Man: the Ultimate Ninja, and Elektra, and he created the character Bucky O'Hare, which was developed into a comic book, a toy line and a television cartoon. During the 1970's, he was seen on the TV shows M*A*S*H and Saturday Night Live. He has appeared on Broadway in two different roles in the original 1976 production of the famous composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim's Pacific Overtures.

Mr. Hama was a consultant to the Paramount Pictures production of the 2009 G.I. Joe: Rise Of Cobra feature film and has returned to writing the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero series for IDW Comics.
