FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q: If I received multiple emails for package pick-up, which one do I go by?
A: The emails are sent out by invoice number, class participants, exhibitors and people on the tour. You can go by any one of them, but we recommend you use the earliest time you received for package pick-up.
Q: How much money should I bring to buy all of the 2015 convention exclusive souvenirs?
A: Costs have gone up because of the complexity of the deco on the items and air freight caused by the dock workers issues on the west coast. There is also an additional souvenir item this year and one that is a large vehicle. If you want to get one of everything you will need approximately $600 for the convention 3 3/4" items and $200 for the 12" items.
Q: I was able to purchase a box set, but the attending bagged sets were sold out. When non-attending allocation goes live will I be able to order a bagged set then?
A: No. You have to purchase a non-attending set to get the few loose sets reserved for that group. We will verify each order and those that try to break the rules will be deleted less service fees.
Q: Will there be any bag sets at the show or can I call the office and have one added to my box set?
Q: On Friday are there general admission passes available?
A: No. Registered attendees only on Friday. This is a private preview no general admission.
Q: Is the freebie item per registered person/badge or is it by box set? I got 2 boxed sets, so how many of the freebie item do I get?
A: Attending items are by boxed set(s). Each person will only have one name badge and one voucher to use for the souvenirs until limits are raised.
Q: Are we going to need to print our confirmation that was emailed to us and bring to package pick-up?
A: You will need a copy to prove which time slot will be yours for package pickup. The slots are by invoice number. More instructions will be emailed to you before the event.
Q: Has the parachute drop been confirmed one way or the other yet?
A: Unfortunately, the venues we were trying to get for the drop did not work out. Therefore, there will not be a drop this year. However, you will be able to purchase the parachute figure starting on Thursday night and it will be very close for everyone to get a figure.
Q: My kids are too young for dinner and don't need their own sets. Can they walk around with me by buying door passes?
A: They will need General Admission tickets on Saturday and Sunday.
Q: I live in the UK and want to order the home front heroes pack. Since I am not able to attend the convention, how can I get the bonus item as part of my pack without ending up paying over inflated prices for something those fortunate enough to live in the USA will get for free?
A: You canít. The bonus item is for attending the show. We have people that come to the show from all over the world and unfortunately itís just the reality of coming. If you think about the cost aspect, the folks that come pay a lot to travel vs. paying more than retail and not traveling. Itís kind of equal if you just want the items.
Q: Will the "actions" taken against the web development company that failed to provide us with a registration system after the convention include a class-action lawsuit? PLEASE INFORM US and tell us where to sign up.
A: We appreciate your zeal. Lawsuits are not to be taken lightly and I hope it doesn't come to that as it is a drain on the people involved physically and keeps us from fulfilling the core purpose of our company. Think more ďdivorceĒ.
Q: Is it possible that non-attendees won't even get a shot at pre-ordering a set?
A: Nope. There are sets both boxed and loose allocated for non-attending.
Q: Can you please clarify if I have one membership to the club. Can I register for two American Hero packages, one for me and one for my son? Or do I have to do one American Hero and one Aide package?
A: Yes you can. You can order however many boxed sets you need for yourself and your family. Your membership covers your immediate family, spouse, parents, children, siblings.
Q: I was logged in but couldn't get a Golden Ticket. How fast did it sell out this year?
A: Five minutes. Unfortunately doing this outside of the registration software, there is no cart locking so you really didnít have the item until you checked out. The new version for use next year will do this.
Q: How much is the shipping for a non-attending box set?
A: Depends on where you live. You will get to choose the service.
Q: My wife and small boys are coming to the convention. Will I be able to pick up their badges/box sets at registration, as in the last couple years?

Q: If I buy a Golden Ticket, would that allow me to go to the front of the line when I arrive Friday morning and would it guarantee their would be 3 of each of the souvenirs left for me to purchase?
A: There would not be a guarantee as of Friday morning, but we have always had some at that time. If you were there before we opened on Friday morning, you would be at the front of the line. Q: I will only be able to make it by mid-day Friday. Does that mean I will not be able to get the souvenirs?
A: Unknown. They may/may not be sold out by then.
Q: This will be my first con and my father is coming along, but in order for him to just walk around with me on Friday and Sat. (after purchasing a package) he has to pay $125?
A: Yes. He will need an Aide package and this also gets him into the dinner with you on Saturday night.
Q: How many vehicles are offered at the con and what are the prices usually? If the vehicles do not sell out at the con is there a huge price increase in the online club store?
A: We donít pre-announce souvenirs. We donít raise the price if they make it to the club store.
Q: Where do you send movies to for the contest. I see they are due by March 13th, but it doesn't say where to mail them?
A: Please send to the regular club address: G.I. Joe Collectors' Club, 225 Cattle Baron Parc Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76108

A: No need. You can order multiple packages within one registration. There is not an ďofficial limitĒ. We choose to monitor and correct anything that looks like abuse.
Q: If the box set is "sold out before the convention" does that mean sold out as in, none available for the club store, or non for the club store AND for those who ordered the Homefront sets?

A: Yes, you go first in line to purchase souvenirs.
