STEVE D'AGUANNO - earned a BS degree in Art Education. Soon after graduation, he applied to work in the factory at Hasbro as a summer job in 1974. Instead, he was offered a job as a sculptor in the Design Department, which he originally thought was only going to be for that summer. Steve retired from Hasbro in 2006, after thrity-three years of service --- which has to be the longest summer job anyone has ever had!
As a sculptor, he was exposed to the full range of R&D activities, including working on putting together sets for G.I. Joe Adventure Team products. Most notably, he was instrumental in working with other Marketing counterparts such as Kirk Bozigian, in reissuing G.I. Joe as a 3 3/4 inch line in 1982. Eventually, all of the R&D staff reported to him. Thus, he was involved in Transformers, My Little Pony, Playskool, etc., etc. until his retirement in 2006 as General Manager of the Research and Development Dept.
In retirement, he occupies himself with a variety of activities including developing toys and games and other consumer products for licensing purposes.
