BART SEARS has been laying pencil marks on paper professionally for over thirty years, working for DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Valiant (old and new), CrossGen, Image, Dark Horse and a number of others. His "Turok" Issues for valiant were million sellers. He is well known for his "Wizard" magazine covers, Brutes and Babes art tutorials, and art book "Drawing Power".
Bart has also put his talents to use designing toys for Hasbro, Inc. and created many of their "in-house" concept and presentation artwork for the "G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero" brand. This included designs for "Battle Force 2000" and all of the character panels included in the 1991 G.I. Joe Trace Plates set. Plus, he worked on the "C.O.P.S. (Central Organization of Police Specialists)," and "WWF (World Wrestling Federation)" toy lines, as well as creating concept art for video games.
Recently, Bart re-launched Ominous Press, bringing relentless, powerful new stories to life, "Giantkillers", "Prometheus" and "Demi-God" the first of many. Bart has also announced a new how-to-draw book "Drawing Powerful Heroes" and an art of book "The Black Book: the Art of Bart Sears".
