12/04/2012 - We are sad to report that Virginia Perry Gardiner passed away this past fall after a long battle with cancer. She will be remembered fondly as a sculptor for the G.I. Joe development team, including her work on the foreign soldiers and the G.I. Nurse. We are proud that she had the chance to speak at both the 1999 and 2010 Official G.I. Joe Collectors' Club Conventions.
